The 1965 New Blockers City Mid-Air Collision was a mid-air collision that happened in New Blockers City on March 3, 1965. The planes were domestic Roblox Airlines and Transbloxian Airlines flights, namely Roblox Airlines Flight 16 and Transbloxian Airlines Flight 006 that were flying in Eastern Robloxia. In 12:20 PM, the two planes, a Roing 707 and a Roglas DC-7, collided into each other, killing 124 people while leaving 1 passenger surviving. However, he succumbed to pneumonia after inhaling fumes from the aircraft and his body had injuries. 125 people were killed in the aircraft, making it the worst aircraft crash to happen before being surpassed by the Robloxfly Flight 662 plane crash of a Robus A340, resulting in the deaths of 196 people. This was the sixteenth hull loss of a Roing 707.
Background[]
Transbloxian Airlines Flight 006[]
Transbloxian Airlines Flight 006 was a domestic Transbloxian Airlines flight that was flying from Dan A. Ronny International Airport (officialy known as Whirley International Airport at that time) to Pressidere Chauteport International Airport. The plane was a Roglas DC-7, one of the six last Roglas DC-7s. The plane was piloted by experienced pilots.
Plane Crash[]
On March 3, 1965, the two planes left bound for Pressidere Chauteport International Airport in Ro-France. As the two planes neared each other, Flight 16 headed into Lake Aacheniat and moved into the other portion of New Blockers City while focusing on a reclaimed landline. Flight 006 took off minutes apart. In 12:18 PM, the two planes met each other as they were flying past northwestern Bloxanhattan. The situation was dire. It was already close. The thick fog in the air had caused Flight 16 to be lost in flight, now being prey to Flight 006 which had been going in an easterly direction as Flight 16, respectively.
About 18 seconds after 12:19 struck, the magnetic force of Flight 16 pulled Flight 006 into the mid-air collision site. The two planes fiercly collided with each other and exploded. The Roing 707 pulled its nose up into the air but the Roglas DC-7 was descending. Just as things were not about to get worse, the plane then pulled its nose and meanwhile its right wing collided with the leftmost plane engine, exploding the engine and sending a torrent of fire in the left wing while damaging the wing, the left landing gear, winglets, spoilers, ailerons, flight controls, and the wing manual. This caused the engine to detach from the aircraft. A few moments later, the plane also collided with the left plane engine, detaching and exploding it, and the torrent of fire spread more quickly. The plane continued rising with its nose, but the other plane rolled its left wing and began turning right to avoid banking with the plane. However, the Roglas DC-7 had a long wing and was still powered by piston engines. The rather two spinning piston propellers shredded the cockpit section of the aircraft and the long wing then cut through the plane itself. An explosion was felt in the cockpit section and wing section. The left wing detached off where it crashed into Lake Aacheniat. Similar to the 2004 Bridgeton Mid-Air Collision, the left wing of the plane shredded through the right wing and broke from itself. The plane was detached into two pieces and its manuals had been corrupted.
The cockpit section entered a dive before crashing into a residential area. The still controlled part of the Roing 707 continued diving into the ground before it turned a somersault and its right wing and rightmost engine collided into a church, killing 43 people on the ground. The Roing 707 slammed into the ground with a giant explosion and broke into pieces, killing the 63 passengers in the flight. The Roglas DC-7, on the other hand, lost the tail section and was flying upwards, but descending. It managed to drive for 15 minutes before the plane then overturned and crashed into a gas station, killing people who did not survive the explosion. The plane then exploded.
