Aerostar flight 5514 was an international passenger flight operating from Coeptus INTL to Suvarnabhumi Airport with a stopover in Daniel K Inouye Airport which disappeared on February 18th, 1993 while going to Island Town. The crew of AQ5514 last contacted BAX ATC at 11.21 AM, 9 minutes after departure and disappeared from ATC radar at 11.23 AM. Staff at BAX ATC tried to contact AQ5514 for approximately 10 mins before military radar attempted to track the plane down, but to no avail. With presumably all 267 passenger and crew members dead, it has made its way to be the deadliest air disaster in Robloxia's aviation history.

There has been several attempts made in order to locate the aircraft, all coming back with no trace or even possibly never came back. In one case, the government of Robloxia's capital city, Brookhaven, sent 11 planes to search for the missing aircraft; out of the 11 that went for the search, only 8 of them came back, with 3 of them reported missing. Three years after the disappearance of AQ5514, there have been several reports of paranormal and anomalous activity around the area, possibly linked to the disappearance of the aircraft. There have been more than nine cases of vehicles mysteriously vanishing in that area, one case was about a Second Robloxian Civil War aircraft carrier which sunk after colliding with something unknown before mysteriously vanishing.

In 2021, the Robloxian's Ministry of Transportation have issued an inconclusive final report, before the case was dismissed.

On January 30, 2023, the RSCP Foundation decided to investigate. The accident is still unknown.

Passengers and Crew[]

Crew[]

The pilot in command was 48 year old Captain Dohn Jwayneson, with 17,465 hours of flying experience

The co-pilot was 34 year old first officer Sum Ting Wong, with 12,937 hours of flying experience.

There were 11 flight attendants, 4 male and 7 female.

Passengers[]

There were 254 passengers onboard, 122 were Robloxian citizens, 46 were Bloxnadian citizens, 21 were Bloxican citizens, 20 were Luobese citizens, 20 were Thai citizens, and the remaining were from different countries.

Flight and dissapearance[]

AQ 5514 was scheduled to depart Coeptus INTL Airport at 10:50AM. On board were 2 pilots, 11 crew, 254 passengers and 15,162 kg of cargo. The flight time to Island Town was approximately 5 hours 50 minutes, which would require 31,010 kg of jet fuel, while the plane carried 32,200 kg of jet fuel.

Departure[]

The plane would end up receiving a delay. At 11:12AM UTC, AQ5514 took off from runway 12L and was instructed by ATC to fly to FL200 (20,000 feet) to waypoint EGARDE. At 11:18 AM, AQ5514 was then instructed to fly to FL350 (35,000 feet).

Final communication[]

AQ5514's final message was sent at 11:21 AM

Coeptus ATC: Starliner 5514, fly heading 250, direct EGARDE

Radar[]

At 11:23 AM, AQ5514 mysteriously disappeared from radar as it was reaching waypoint EGARDE, south of the Bloxington Ocean. Coeptus ATC repeatedly made attempts to reconnect with AQ5514 for around 10 minutes before military radar got involved, both to no avail. Eventually, they received a response from AQ5514, but all they could hear was static noises. At 10AM the following day, a media statement was issued, followed by a search party being launched for the missing plane. Several search parties were issued until the case was closed on January 27th, 2018 with an inconclusive final report.

Paranormal/anomalous activity near the site of AQ5514[]

There have been several reports of paranormal/anomalous activity by multiple cargo ships and planes passing by, such as getting their systems crashing. On May 9th, 2006, the Robloxian International Coordination Centre sent a group of scuba divers to search the mysterious site, but only found a strange bright red and blue light shining. In November 16th, 2009, another group of scuba divers were sent out to investigate the mysterious site. They came back with reports of a bright red and blue light shining on the exact location the aircraft disappeared along with mysterious sounds coming from under the rocks. They had also found a handbag, watch, luggage and a computer which had never been seen before and might have some anomalous properties. The RSCP Foundation has started to look into the case in 3rd November, 2015 and commenced investigations on January 30, 2019.

Search[]

Aerostarroute

Aerostar 5514 route before dissapearing

The Robloxian's Ministry of Transportation (RMOT) started the search at 19th February, 1993 at approximately 10 AM (Around 18 hours after the plane was supposed to arrive at Island Town and 23 hours after the plane disappeared from radar). Following the initial analysis on the aircraft's last seen location, the search team focused mainly on South on Bloxington Ocean. In between 1993 - 2005, 31 vessels, submarines and 410 military squadron aircraft searched a total area of over 7,800,000 km2 altoghether with other countries and eventually, the United Roblox Countries, joining in the search team. In April 25, 2005, the search party was taken over by the Robloxian International Coordination Centre (RICC), where the search party would unfortunately start showing lesser and lesser progress due to the lack of collaboration and willingness between the United Roblox Countries.

On May 9, 2006, the Robloxian International Coordination Centre would send out a group of 16 scuba divers to investigate the area of AQ5514's disappearance. All 16 scuba divers came back with anomalous reports stating a bright red and blue light shining coming from the seabed. Another group of 10 scuba divers were then sent again and this time, all 10 came back with more anomalous reports stating not only did they find a bright red and blue light; but also a bunch of belongings which have never before seen in Roblox. More and more divers were sent to that area following the anomalous event before expanding the search area, only to find nothing anomalous.

2nd December, 2013[]

The Robloxian Royal Air Force announced an aircraft with registration MNO-63 had just started descent over Island Town, being a Robus RA330. Military officials immediately rushed towards Daniel K Inouye airport, ready to investigate the strange anomalous event. Whilst both military and ATC radar showed that the plane had already landed, there was nothing. The radar then proceeded to show the aircraft being parked at one of the aprons, before disappearing 10 minutes later. Approximately 9 hours later, the Royal Thai Air Force had also announced an aircraft, also registered MNO-63, had entered Suvurnabhumi airspace and was on finals when it was detected. Just like the earlier incident, the plane never showed up, but continued to stay on the radar before disappearing after being parked and connected with a jetway. Interestingly, the same jetway happened to connect with the invisible aircraft while it was on the apron. Robloxia officials immediately noted this as "weird" before the RSCP Foundation started to investigate ways to specially contain the anomaly on January 30th, 2015.

30th April, 2016[]

After more cases of ships disappearing while crossing the site, additional special containment procedures were implemented. It states that no cargo or passenger carriers are called within a 20 kilometer distance of the area. Military planes/ships, as well as the RSCP Foundation's planes and ships, are allowed to enter the site for further investigation purposes. Eventually, all military planes and ships were barred after a military aircraft carrier containing many military aircraft vanished from plain sight.

RSCP Foundation Search[]

In 8th April, 2019, the RSCP Foundation located a fragment of the RA330-300's radar. It was found at the exact location AQ5514 was lost and is believed to also be the mysterious plane that disappeared. Personnel at the RSCP Foundation did more research on the fragment and noticed that strange activities were going around near the fragment. They deemed the fragment as Safe, before classifying the fragment as RSCP-[data expunged] and specially contained it in a standard RSCP Foundation box.

9th July, 2020[]

3 Class Ds who were located near RSCP-4562 mysteriously vanished into thin air. Interestingly, there were red and blue marks on the prison floor where they disappeared. The cases of missing Robloxians started to gradually skyrocket with the same red and blue marks located on the areas they were last seen at. The RSCP Foundation personnel decided it was best to lock up the box 50ft underground somewhere in a very remote place. However, when they were about to transport the strange fragment, the fragment was nowhere to be seen and disappeared from the box.

21st August, 2020[]

A group of fishermen reported seeing a plane, resembling the RA330-300 crash into the waters of South Bloxington Ocean. The RICC sent out a search team to locate the plane, around the area where the fishermen stated. They managed to find the plane wreckage, but however, no matter how far they tried to swim towards the wreckage, it did not seem to get any closer. Eventually, the wreckage disappeared and it is widely believed to be AQ5514, as not even military or ATC radar were able to track the aircraft's flight path. The search team who were working together noticed that the plane widely resembled the 1990s livery for Aerostar, and thus they believed it was AQ5514.
