Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines Flight 4102 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight operated by Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines, from Bloxezeire International Airport in Roblox Aires, Bloxargentina to Bloxalerge Ralgado Filho International Airport in Bloxalerge, Bloxrazil. On the evening of 21 December 2016, the Robus R320-251N performing this flight, registered as PR-YSG, crashed into the tree of forest nearby a school and a worship building while attempting a emergency landing back to Ezeireblox (the flight's origin), it then impacted the ground heavily catastrophic, killing all 133 passengers and 7 crew members on board the Robus R320neo.

The Civil Aviation Accident Investigation Board (Ro-Spanish: Junta de Investigaciones de Accidentes de Aviación Civil) (JIAAC) determined that the fire originated in an electrical compartment beneath the cockpit. The source of ignition was traced to a bundle of damaged electrical wires that had deteriorated due to prolonged exposure to vibration and moisture. The damaged insulation allowed an electrical short circuit, leading to overheating and ignition of surrounding materials.

The fire had caused a malfunction electrical power, leading to erratic aircraft behavior. The flight crew rushed to land as soon as possible. As the aircraft neared the airport, the aircraft's airspeed was tpp high. The air traffic controller instructed the flight to go around and land on another airport. However, the flight crew took a missed turn to the left, and took an accidental descent. The aircraft clipped trees near a school before impacting the ground in a nose-down attitude, causing a catastrophic breakup upon impact.

The flight was operated by a new Robus R320-251N, registered as PR-YSG, with serial number 10070. The aircraft made its first flight on 28 June 2016 under registration F-WIIY. It then delivered to Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines in August 2016 and re-registered to PR-YSG in Bloxrazil. The aircraft had been accumulation 3,159 flight hours at the time of the crash. The aircraft was powered with two CFM International LEAP-1A26 engines, and it was configured to carry 180 passenger seats.

Passengers and crew

The flight carried 133 passengers and 7 crew members (5 flight attendant and 2 pilots).

There were two pilots aboard the Flight 4102:

• The pilot in command was a 47-year-old, Desidério Aloísio from Bloxalerge, Bloxrazil. He had acculumated 53,093 flight hours and 8,376 on the Robus R320. He started his pilot training lesson in October 2010. Later in 2011, he joined Rodova Airlines, then joined his local airline in Bloxrazil, Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines in November 2015.

• The first officer was a 34-year-old, Clemente Erik from Roblox Aires, Bloxargentina. He had been acculumated 13,298 flight hours and 2,908 hours on the Robus R320. He started his pilot training lesson in mid of June 2015. He then joined Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines in December 2015, the first airline to work in.

Previous flight incident

A week before the crash. PR-YSG operating the same flight to Bloxalerge experienced an electrical malfunction shortly after took off, prompting an emergency landing back to Ezeireblox, it was landed successfully before the situation getting worse. The JIAAC later discovered that the issue stemmed from damaged wiring, which was either improperly repaired or not sufficeently inspected before the Flight 4102’s departure on December 21. All passengers and crew members were successfully evacuated and survived the incident, a few injuries was reported in the incident.

Accident

The flight took off from Roblox Aires at 20:48 ART (23:48 UTC), it was scheduled for derpature from Ezeireblox International Airport at 20:40 ART (23:40 BRT) and it was scheduled to landed and arrived at Bloxalerge at 22:14 BRT (01:14 UTC). The aircraft was carrying 133 passengers and 7 crew members onboard. Before the plane took off, the air traffic controller stated that the temperature was 27°C (80°F), and the weather was clear with a fluctuating wind speed of 2 knots.

Initial problems

At approximately 20 minutes into the flight, at around 21:06 BRT (00:06 UTC), the crew detected an unusual burning smell in the cockpit. Moments later, multiple electrical systems, including cockpit displays and some cabin lights, began to flicker erratically. The pilots quickly radioed the air traffic controller, reporting "electrical malfunctions" and requesting an immediate return to Ezeireblox. Passengers described hearing popping sounds and seeing sparks in the overhead panels. Some witnesses sitting near the rear of the aircraft noticed faint smoke beginning to seep into the cabin. The cabin crew moved quickly to reassure passengers, though panic began to spread as the aircraft dimmed intermittently due to electrical failures.

By 21:10 BRT (00:10 UTC), the situation had worsened significantly. A fire had erupted in the avionics bay, likely caused by damaged or short-circuited wiring. The flight crew attempted to suppress the fire using onboard extinguishers, but the flames had already compromised critical systems. Communications with ATC became sporadic as radios failed. At 21:15 BRT (00:15 UTC), the flight crew initiated an emergency landing attempt at the Ezeireblox International Airport. However, visibility inside the cockpit was severely reduced due to smoke, and the pilots were working with minimal instrumentation.

Crash

Witnesses on the ground saw the aircraft descending at an steep angle, trailing smoke, it banked to the left approximately 80° degress. At approximately 19:19 BRT (21:19 UTC), PR-YSG clipped the tops of trees in a wooded area near a school and a worship building. The impact with the trees further destabilized the aircraft, causing it to roll violently before crashing into the ground in a catastrophic explosion.

Aftermath

The crash of Azol Bloxrazilian Airlines Flight 4102 was one of the deadliest aviation disasters in Bloxargentina's history, claiming the lives of all 140 robloxians on board. Within minutes of the crash, local residents and first responders rushed to the site, but the wreckage was already flooded in flames due to the intense post-impact fire. The impact had scattered debris across a wide area, with parts of the fuselage embedded in the ground and others lodged in trees.

Firefighters were struggled the burning flames for hours, but the severity of the blaze left a little hope for the survivors. By the following day on dawn (22 December), rescue teams had recovered only a handful of identifiable remains, with many victims requiring forensic analysis for identification. The force of the crash and the subsequent fire had left most bodies unrecognizable, requiring logical specialists to use DNA analysis and dental records for identification. On the 23 December, mourn the families gathered at makeshift memorial sites near the crash location, desperate for news about their loved ones.
