Bliss Airlines Flight 5034 (LX5034/BLR5034), also marketed as Blox International Airlines Flight 133 (BX133/BIA133) was a scheduled international transtelamon flight from Bloxywood, Blorida, Robloxia to Zürich, Ro-Switzerland that crashed on 29 December 2005. The McDonnell Douglas MD-11 flying the route was ran out of fuel after a failed attempt to land at Zürich International Airport, causing the aircraft to crash onto the village of Altwingerten, Nussbaumen. With 248 robloxians onboard, the accident resulted in the fatalities of the 169 robloxians, with 69 robloxians survived and resulting in 65 injuries.

The MD-11 left Bloxywood with more than enough fuel for the flight and it progressed crossing Bloxington Ocean towards the Zürich normally. While en-route crossing southwestern of Romarkia, the plane was placed in four holding patterns due to the recent snowstorm in Zürich. Due to the air traffic controllers not giving the delay estimations, the MD-11's fuel became critically lower. The MD-11 ran out of fuel before the plane was able to make a second landing attempt, it then crashed about 15 miles (27 km) from Zürich International Airport.‌

The Bureau of Enquiry and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety (BEA) conducted a thorough investigation into the crash of Flight 5034, the final report was eventually released on 6 January 2007. The report identifies the primary cause of the accident as the pilot's inadequate management of the aircraft's fuel load and their failure to communicate a critical fuel situation to air traffic control before fuel exhaustion occurred. A contributing factors included the crew's lack of utilization of the Bliss Airlines operational control dispatch system during the international flight into a congested airport under hazardous weather conditions, as well as insufficient traffic flow management by the Robloxian Aviation Administration (RAA).

Flight chronology[]

The flight plan filled for the flight to Zürich International Airport called for 205,900 pounds (93,400 kg) of fuel accounting for the direct flight, holding, and reserves for diversions to alternate airports such as Basel Airport, Strasbourg Airport, and Stuttgart Airport. The flight was prepared for departure from Dos Bocas/Fort Havana International Airport in Bloxywood, Blorida with a planned route to Zürich International Airport in Zürich. The flight was scheduled to take 9 hours and 40 minutes across the Bloxington Ocean into the Eurobloxia airspace. At 07:16 EST (12:16 UTC), Flight 5034 pushed back from Gate C13 and taxied to Runway 10R. On board, there were 235 passengers and 13 crew members on the plane.

The aircraft departed from Bloxywood at 07:25 EST (12:25 UTC), five minutes late than the schedule. Following the runway heading before turning northeast 044° following Bloxywood's FEELX departure procedure. Initial climb was smooth, establishing a cruising altitude of FL360 (36,000 feet) before later ascending to FL380 (38,000 feet). The flight was eventually normal. At 12:11 AST (16:11 UTC), the flight crew obtained an oceanic clearance from the Gander control center at least 30 minutes before entering the Oceanic Control Area. The flight crew gives the information that they have almost reached the waypoint PORTI, which was expected to be reached the waypoint six minutes later. At 15:29 GMT (15:29 UTC) As aircraft exit oceanic airspace, pilots contact the appropriate European Air Traffic Control (ATC) facility. The flight was cleared to integrated with UN871 airway to Zürich for a short time.
