Robloxiapedia, formerly Roblox Cities Wiki, is a free online encyclopedia created on Fandom and maintained by a community of Fandom and Roblox users through a wiki-based editing system. The wiki launched in July 2011. The wiki's history is provided here in this article. For a summary of Robloxiapedia and its history in general, please go here.
Background (2011-2018)
The wiki, as Roblox Cities Wiki, was formally created on the Wikia website (former name of Fandom) on July 23, 2011, at 8:35 p.m. by a user named 5o-o-o5, who is also known as Matt (though it's unclear whether that's his first name).
At 20:54 on the same day, he wrote the first article ever, which was named Roblox City (now known as Bloxburg). Over the next several months, 5o-o-o5 spent a considerable amount of time and effort creating and extensively editing multiple pages, including the initial picture, which was first added on September 1, 2011, along with Wikia, Stormtrooper477, and Default (unknown).
However, on April 14, 2012, he abruptly changed his mind about the wiki and stopped contributing to it entirely. It wasn't until August 2014 that he updated the wiki again, and on September 11 of that year, he made his last change, referred to as the "edit that dropped the wiki dead," regarding Stormburg International Airport. This effectively ended his involvement with the project.
For the remainder of the 2010s, it was uncertain whether the wiki would be brought back to life. However, before 2014, several anonymous users began updating the wiki and complimented 5o-o-o5 on his "good job" on the encyclopedia. Users even have the option to add new made-up nations and cities. At this point, there were apparently just 10–20 pages on the wiki.
A FANDOM Staff member named Mira Laime made the first-ever Discussions post in Robloxiapedian history on February 10, 2017. However, ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes did not reply, and he closed the thread when he took over. He will keep it intact for readers of Robloxian in the future and has no plans to remove it now.
On September 29, 2018, an unknown Fandom User made a comment on the Robloxia (currency) page with a cryptic number. Typing this cryptic number reveals that it is an ID for the Wings of Fire item on Roblox. It is presumed that this is the only comment ever made on Robloxiapedia when it was dead.
Revitalization (2019-2022)
Early attempts and rise
On April 15, 2019, a user called ObloCoffe joined the wiki with the intention of updating it. He noticed that the wiki was extremely outdated and planned to create new pages to make it more current and informative. However, just a day later, he gave up on updating the wiki, presumably because he was busy with another project.
On November 24, 2019, an unregistered user by the name of ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes joined the wiki and made his first few edits. He noticed that he could earn badges and points just by editing, which made the wiki's leaderboard, which had previously gone undetected, increasingly noticeable. In order to demonstrate his commitment to controlling the wiki, he made it his mission to defeat the original author, which was unprecedented at the time.
Early in the lockdown, on March 25, 2020, a user called Dr. Sunris made his first edit on an article about Meepcity. By April of that same year, he had overtaken 5o-o-o5 as the top contributor on the leaderboard. Chikorita152b also put in a lot of effort to climb to the top, but she was only able to achieve 60 points, 22 edits, and 1 post (which has since been lost).
Despite his success, Chikorita152b was cautioned by a bureaucrat on a wiki to remove his account for "clean slate purposes." However, he thought that doing so would damage his reputation and decided against it.
Another unregistered user, AmigoVilla2004, began editing the wiki in December 2020. His first entry was a modification of Palm County, Robloxia on December 14, 2020, at 22:47. With an increasing number of people updating and adding articles, the wiki had fully returned by mid-2021, marking the first time it had done so since 2011.
First major vandalism and development
From May 21–23, 2021, Robloxiapedia had its first vandalism ever when a user with the name of Baldisbasicsleaning altered the entry on Robloxia (nation). He repeatedly branded Robloxia phony, claiming that the wiki was canonical and true to life. Each time, he received a retraction and a warning from ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes. But he refused to give up, even ignoring the warnings.Roblox Hurricanes Chikorita began to mini-moderate on May 23 and informed him that he was blocked. On May 29, ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes, who received 70% of the popular vote, adopted the wiki out of concern that it might turn into a haven for vandals. She edited the page for 10 days in order to fulfill adoption standards.Baldibasicsleaning was barred from the wiki indefinitely as his first obstacle. He says that if this happens again, editing rights to the Robloxia (country) page would be temporarily suspended. He then made the wiki appear more like other wikis by defending almost everything that was necessary for it and implementing Robloxiapedia regulations for the first time. Because of the enforcement, the wiki's security has been restored.
A lot of disasters were also made in 2021 by ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes, and a lot of RSCPs were created on the wiki by AmigoVilla2004 until staff members complained that it was too much for them. Another wiki was created eventually. ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes fully owned Disasters Wiki, which became her first wiki. Primarily, he protected almost everything on the wiki before moving catastrophes and RSCPs there. From 60 pages in the beginning, the wiki has expanded to around 500–600 pages. Because to AmigoVilla2004's editing activities, ChikoritaRobloxHurricanes elevated him to administrator in May. Not only was JishMiontyLary the first administrator to depart Robloxiapedia, but she was also the only one to get elevated unexpectedly, setting a precedent for administrator criteria of one month and 200 changes. There are several different reports of his supposed return. The first administrator and the only one supported by elections was nxteonx (previously AfterLifeDark_Lucas1); nonetheless, the election campaign was unsuccessful since insufficient users cast ballots. After two months and 400 revisions, Robloxiapedia currently employs staff applications to elevate users to staff. Hurricane Chikorita ROBLOX has refused to grant authority to anybody other than his ALTs, claiming that he would face difficult circumstances if he did so.
As Roblox Cities Wiki's scope grew, it was rebranded to Robloxiapedia in June 2021, just as the wiki was getting used to its new look and Oasis was ready to permanently depart FANDOM. Because they thought the previous name was superior, a few of people objected to the rebranding. The Wikipedia turned 10 year old on July 23, 2021. The colors of each wiki were brightened, and all the typefaces were replaced with the jubilant Comic Sans MS. Employee of Robloxiapedia AmigoVilla2004 attempted to make an experience with a roller coaster to celebrate, but it was ultimately abandoned because of experience issues. What started off as a success turned out to be a disaster. In August 2021, Oasis left Robloxiapedia, giving birth to a whole new skin called FandomDesktop, which was initially widely criticized but soon waned shortly after. In September 2021, the wiki received significant activity for the first time since 2013. In addition, ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes began changing the website's CSS because he thought the default CSS was terrible. The Robloxiapedia theme was changed to resemble Rodow's 7 Classic Theme.
Robloxiapedia had a Roblox group, which was created around October 2021. Only Roblox and FANDOM members are allowed to join the restricted group, however it might be challenging to administer. The group Robloxiapedia would soon start making video games. Their most well-known game, Survive an East Robloxian Earthquake (now called Survive an Earthquake in honor of Turkey and Syria due to events that occurred around February 2023), received 357 visits but was met with criticism because many Robloxians found the game offensive or realized that the developers would profit from donations to the game rather than giving to those countries. Before being abandoned, the majority of the games only received one significant update. Because the bureaucrat utilized a plausible symbol, one highly popular game named Robux Getting Simulator gained 1,400 visits; nonetheless, many users condemned the game because they thought it provided them free Robux. Chikorita had to use many updates and, finally, an NPC telling them as such to persuade everyone that the game did not award free ROBUX. Additionally, with very little opposition, Robloxiapedia started removing pages from defunct ripoff wikis in October 2021. In November 2021, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat would implement more CSS modifications. Moreover, he prevented 5o-o-o5 till the year 10,000. In a mocking statement, he even claimed that "he was banned from his own creation." He would probably never come back to ask the Robloxiapedia team to unblock him.
Recent history (2022-present)
Vandalisms and rules changes
It was planned to capture another wiki on January 20, 2022, however just the main page was taken and no entries were stolen and transferred. Robloxiapedia would have a vandalism assault on January 15, 2022. The census article on Robloxiapedia was vandalized, and on January 23, 2022, another analogous page was made to describe it. The page was physically added with roughly 52,064 bytes of bunbungirls. At that time, a staff member barred the user for a week in an attempt to determine the cause, but ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes banned the user because he believed the level of vandalism was too great.
new policies in Robloxiapedia were introduced as new loopholes were generated by the current legislature in 2022. When alerts and adverts from the global platform began to appear, upsetting editors, Robloxiapedia also made an attempt to break away from FANDOM's authority over the network in 2022. The Robloxiapedia wiki was severely interfering with users' access to the rest of the Fandom platform, thus Fandom administrators disabled all advertisements, alerts, and even the FANDOM logo from the wiki for six months before removing it. Afterwards, in February 2022, the wiki launched the abstract Robloxiapedia drama idea. There was much discussion for a while over whether Brookhaven belonged in the United States or Europe. Some staff members thought it was a nation, while others thought it was a metropolis. Hoping to quell the drama, the Chikorita Roblox Hurricanes did a poll, in which the city option won. Brookhaven is still a city. A temporary policy saying that Brookhaven is a city was added. On May 18, 2022, ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes started to get messages that the account he was using to log in will soon be deactivated and erased.ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes was worried about it and made the decision to elevate one of his ALTs to the position of bureaucrat in order to preserve bureaucracy on the wiki.
On October 20, 2022, the first Robloxiapedia site-wide project got underway. In order to improve the wiki cities, TeamCities attempted to reclassify or remove pages that did not provide the population of the city. On October 26, 2022, ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes announced to everyone that his account had been disabled (after graduation and September 15th failing) and that logging out would result in his being locked out of the wiki. He vowed revenge on the school for disabling his account and severing him from 50+ services and FANDOM that he used as a high school student (fun fact: He logged into Discord using his high school account). Many Robloxiapedians started to grieve. November 24, 2022, was the day when Chikorita Roblox Hurricanes's account died. He was ultimately murdered after becoming bureaucratic for 1.5 years and making 11,874 modifications—more than any other user on the wiki and one of only two individuals to achieve quintuple digit edit counts—which as of the posting accounted for 60% of all Robloxiapedia edits. This 928-byte edit, "Little Bloxwomen," was his most recent edit/article.
Rise in conflicts and other events
A drama on Robloxiapedia startedon December 4, 2022. This time, "false information" was deleted from Car Parking Level 7 by a user going by the handle Galactic InspiredReal. Because Chikorita thought Galactic was posing as a staff member, there was a brewing edit war in the article. The conflict eventually spiraled out of control as Galactic declared: "I will ban you from the game if you continue to provide misinformation" EmelardMaster372, perceiving that Galactic was "claiming ownership of an article," barred him from the wiki, stating that the threat of his ban was unjustified. After that, he reversed it and safeguarded the page. The CPL7 drama eventually spread to the Roblox dimension when Galactic banned a staff member from the game of the same name and Chikorita called for a boycott of the CPL7 staff by asking users to ban every staff member and using a private server to challenge the contentious ruling. Additionally, the CPL7 drama spread to the Discord dimension when new, suspicious users started to join the server's Discord channel. Fortunately, those were not FANDOM accounts, but EmelardMaster372 reported it thinking it was a raid. Even raid protection was implemented by EmelardMaster372. Chikorita disabled all of the invite links that were made quickly and made a fresh one on a server. Almost all raiders had their access to the server restricted. In addition, ChikoritaROBLOXHurricanes constructed a backup server and a template server that employees may utilize in the case of an actual raid. Even more, EmelardMaster372 introduced a security question that only contributors knew the solution to, thereby shutting off the wiki communication server. January 23, 2023: EmelardMaster372 has reactivated the device.
Several article creators contacted ChikoritaTheRobloxian in late December 2022, complaining that some of the content on Robloxiapedia contradicted their fan lore and demanding that he remove it. He did and protected the pages, as his mere presence implied an interest. On January 1, 2023, Robloxiapedia began another attempt to secede from FANDOM, but this time partially by making his own Terms of Use (relying on FANDOM only for things not disclosed) and Privacy Policies. He gave users the right to seize content contradicting their fan lore (provided that the user has not contributed to the Main namespace) and the right to delete content copied and pasted from Robloxiapedia without prior reference or credit. He also hid some clever Easter eggs in the Terms of Service. Also, January 1, 2023, was the day Robloxiapedia was to change Discord servers because he felt like the server owner was not actively moderating the server but had cancelled it due to vacation. ChikoritaTheRobloxian even banned his old account, trying to be careful as one misclick can result in him being banned from the entire wiki.
On January 7th, 2023, EmelardMaster372 renamed himself ChikoritaTheRobloxian after feeling that his username was insipid. Robloxiapedia's first project would begin on January 18 and end on January 22, 2023. Originally expected to take months, it only took a few days thanks to ChikoritaTheRobloxian's source editing abilities and the ability to find a perfect Fandom extension to do the tenuous task. ChikoritaTheRobloxian, on the other hand, was chastised for making the wiki dark on January 21 and 22, 2023, claiming that he did so to enforce no new article creation during that time and that he will not do so again. This project is called Spoken Robloxiapedia, after Spoken Wikipedia in Wikipedia, and ChikoritaTheRobloxian announced on January 23, 2023 that he will be working as a part-time editor in Robloxiapedia due to schoolwork resuming. Also, On January 23, 2023, Robloxiapedia finally got its name changed in the sticky header and its namespace. However, the URL was not changed due to the wiki being criticized as small despite having 4,000+ pages.
MatthewPlayThrought introduced help articles to Robloxiapedia on January 29, 2023 (the first help article was created in the Help namespace and is probably abandoned owing to the user's lack of source editing abilities). The initial how-to guide covered article creation. Since employees could only utilize the Help namespace, ChikoritaTheRobloxian branded it unapproved and promptly erased it. After that, he saw an idea on Wikipedia that led him to write his own page on how to do it. The bureaucrat's unique creative perspective on things was mixed together with Wikipedia policies and his own policies in this page. He then gave a brief introduction to the page presently being built, Robloxiapedia Help and Support.
On February 1, 2023, in honor of the real world Black History Month, Robloxiapedia changed its theme from a theme inspired by Rodows 7 to a customized light and dark theme based on skin tones. He then made the dark theme the default theme of Robloxiapedia. Robloxiapedia was planning on changing its icon to a really black offset square. However, due to technical problems on Fandom's end, Robloxiapedia was not able to use an icon that day. On the same day a person created an account named ARandomGuyWhoJustLikesTheFrustratedGamer Robloxiapedia had originally planned to use a Groundhog Day based theme on February 2, 2023 but Robloxiapedia was unable to find a emoji resembling a groundhog, so Robloxiapedia kept using the theme. On February 3, 2023, a novel concept was first introduced when ChikoritaTheRobloxian blocked TheLostOfPuyoPuyos for a month, which was a decision that he had to make because SaturnPines246 said that TheLostOfPuyoPuyos ruined Robloxiapedia by adding Puyo Puyo content to Robloxiapedia. He later questioned the decision, given the fact he believed that a month for a user who only committed blockable wiki-crimes twice only deserves a second warning, not a direct block. The novel concept is letting users decide on a block time. A poll was created in Robloxiapedia, asking users if the block was justified. Most of the users believed the block was justified but had to be lightened to one week, so it was done. Also on February 3, 2023, Robloxiapedia staff member AmigoVilla2004 was considering restricting interactive map and map editing/creating privileges so that only users with staff access can create/edit maps after noticing that Robloxia users tend to create maps that drastically change the environment and the fourth wall due to the staff virtually having to move everything around. Robloxiapedia bureaucrat upvoted the proposal, and begun work on Operation Mapper No Mapping, effectively creating the first entries on title blacklists. He made it so that users cannot create new pages on the Help namespace, the Robloxiapedia namespace, and the Map namespace. He created ChikoritaTheTestTube, an alternative account that is used by the bureaucrat as an experiment. On February 5, 2023, ChikoritaTheRobloxian began to advertise, revitalize, and revive the Robloxiapedian community through three stages. He plans to remove the notice as soon he gets a new announcement. The first stage involved the creati on of a site notice inspired by a FANDOM site notice that he saw on a dead wiki, saying that dead wikis that do not have any edits in a calendar year will be deleted at the end of the calendar year. Instead, he rephrased it, saying that all FANDOM users are dead users in terms of Robloxiapedia and they are forced to edit to remove the site notice, hoping to get new contributors.
The second stage was to revitalize the Discord community, using a similarly phrased notice. The third stage was to announce to every existing editor. The goal of this project is to get many active users as possible to convince FANDOM of a URL rename. On February 10, 2023, Robloxiapedia did a wiki navigation bar revamp that would be the wiki navigation bar more like other wikis. From February 10, 2023, to February 17, 2023, the wiki's dark mode was changed in honor of the RSCP Foundation to celebrate an event that would initially start as an all-day event before moving towards all-week. On February 21, 2023, another decision was brought into light: whether users should be monitored in Robloxiapedia if they do edit spam, which is defined as multiple edits in a certain time period. Advocates for the decision state that the decision would help Robloxiapedia become secure. Opponents state this idea would make users uncomfortable. Eventually, it was passed, with the users warned if they make ten edits per five minutes and go on to do an eleventh, they will be warned. On February 22, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat found out that he could view post history, so he decided to test it. On February 25, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat created Ghosts, an experience where one role-plays as a Chi-152 personnel and tries to prevent ghosts from breaching the interior sphere by killing the ghosts. On February 27, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat celebrated Pokémon's birthday because his username contained Chikorita, a leaf Pokémon. Nxteonx decided to take a wikibreak to Thailand, promising to be back on March 13th. On February 28, 2023, AmigoVilla2004 finished the beta version of his newest game, RSCP:CB.
On March 1, 2023, Robloxiapedia was met with criticism by users after one found out that the readability of Robloxiapedia is too challenging. This led the bureaucrat as an attempt to create a simpler English version of Robloxiapedia, but unfortunately, that decision was scrapped due to the fact there was no simple English language option on FANDOM. Also, Robloxiapedia used hot pink as a theme color to celebrate Female Robloxian's History Month (Women's History Month), but it had to be toned down due to the fact users were blinded by the colors. Meanwhile, another ghost game was made by the bureaucrat. On March 1, 2023, Robloxiapedia administrator AmigoVilla2004 wondered if it is possible to pin Discussion posts such that the user sees the post regardless of how it is sorted, to which the answer is sadly no, and it could be done with a site notice.
On March 2, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat spoke out about dislike bombers, users who were disliking his games without giving a closer scrutinizing look at them. The bureaucrat said that the users possibly thought the Robux Getting Simulator game gave users Free Robux, and so he had to make two updates, which involved the addition of an NPC that warned them that the Robux they collect will not transfer to their account directly. He also said that he still does not understand why players dislike games based on real, traumatizing events. Soon after, there was a mini trend where users would welcome new Robloxiapedia visitors to Robloxiapedia, On March 3, 2023, AmigoVilla2004 dedicated a category for his lore. Meanwhile, ChikoritaTheRobloxian joined the trend, but instead of posting a unique welcome message, he stated that some people were welcomed to Robloxiapedia in a form of a template, and he used it.
On March 4, 2023, ChikoritaTheRobloxian revealed that he might be soon removing the edit and post counters found on every FANDOM account, stating that he places emphasis on seniority, not quantity, though he scrapped the decision due to the fact he needs this information to be able to determine staff eligibility and role reformations on Discord. Also, RSCPs can now be numbered with more freedom instead of having to go through consecutive numbers each time. On March 7, 2023, MatthewPlayThrought planned to make a solar eclipse game on Roblox. On March 10, 2023, the Recent Changes interface was revamped slightly, in which every edit now reads like a sentence. On March 11, 2023, the decision to make RSCPs and SCPs different from each other has been approved. On March 13, 2023, RedWoolYT announced to Robloxiapedia that it is possible to created tabbed pages. However, the usage of tabbed pages remains very low due to the complex syntax required to create them. On March 14, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat changed the logo to a pie to celebrate Pi Day and encouraged users to read his blog posts. On March 15, 2023, the bureaucrat decided to create a game where Robloxians explored Earth. This game was disliked for unknown reasons, but it is presumed to be a dislike bomber.
On March 16th, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat pardoned a user named Nimes, who was banned for lore purposes. However, Nimes never returned to Robloxiapedia. On March 17, 2023, Saint Paddy made an appearance on Robloxiapedia and the theme was changed to a theme based on the holiday. On March 19th, 2023, proposals to change the Robloxiapedia logo arose. Meanwhile, the bureaucrat was planning on making a solar flare event on Roblox, which will result ultimately in the destruction of Robloxiapedia pages. In the meantime, the bureaucrat was also flexing the fact that Robloxiapedia is able to be accessed in school, something that Roblox Wiki could not do. On March 21st, 2023, the bureaucrat had to fill a survey out, but it was not a conventional survey, so he had to skip it due to the fact he is very uncomfortable with the format. On March 22, 2023, the bureaucrat cancelled the solar flare event due to schoolwork and began to write his creative fiction, describing the aftermath of an event he witnessed on Roblox. He also created the first non-spherical interstellar object article in Roblox. He also decided to experiment, creating a very special game that only Premium Users could play. On March 23rd, 2023, the fourth Robloxiapedia staff member, RedWoolYT, was inaugurated into the wiki. On March 24, 2023, the Robloxiapedia administration decided to share tips, one of them was aimed for source editor people. On March 29, 2023, the bureaucrat found out that his dream domain costed $12/year. While relatively little in cost, moving the wiki to this domain would require possibly lots of money to host the web server. On March 30, 2023, the concept of a gallery was reintroduced, something that the bureaucrat already knew (but decided not to use). Also, the bureaucrat declared victory over Republic of Roblox wiki, its rival wiki that was promoted in 2022 by Loquip, even roasting the wiki and assuming that it would be deleted due to its smallness. On March 31, after 18 days of idleness after his wiki-vacation, Nxteonx returned to Robloxiapedia. Also on that day, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat pretended that the wiki was bought by Roblox Corporation.
In April 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat announced Roses, which are like Barnstars on Wikipedia, except they are targeted towards pages. The first rose is called the Famous Rose, which is given to pages that are famous for some reason. On April 2, 2023, AmigoVilla2004 announced that he would be giving away 25 ROBUX to help him create an icon for his RSCP:CB game. On April 3rd 2023 at 15:54, The same JustARandomPersonWhoLileTheFrustratedGamer person made the 4000th page of Robloxiapedia, Wolfpag III
On April 4, 2023, the bureaucrat tested Bard, which is supposed to help people write better essays using AI (and in the world of Robloxiapedia editors, write articles with the assistance of an AI). He found out that the results were pretty unsatisfying. However, he found out that the SCPs it wrote were actually decent. However, he noticed that the AI thinks Roblox is more of a game than a universe, therefore he concluded that it should not be used. On April 6, 2023, Robloxiapedia was vandalized again, after 15 months of no vandalistic activity. 30 pages were vandalized, plus the fact that the staff were given a death threat. The user who spotted the vandal was given temporary administration privileges for one day to revert the edits made by the user. Robloxiapedia was also locked down to staff editing for one day to prevent the user from striking back with his potential alts.
On April 8, 2023, AmigoVilla2004 noticed that RSCP-096 was similar to an SCP, plus the fact that article was not written with bad English (but still readable to the bureaucrat, who later proofread the article). Also, Robloxiapedia was endorsed by a YouTuber, which caused Robloxiapedia to gain widespread attention outside of the wiki, so the bureaucrat decided to create a celebrity endorsement program, where YouTubers can popularize Robloxiapedia to the Roblox community. On April 12, 2023, Robloxiapedia administrator AmigoVilla2004 announced that the wiki has returned to its peak age of popularity after many Roblox games started to use Robloxiapedia as a foundation for their own games.
On April 13, 2023, Robloxiapedia was upgraded to MediaWiki 1.39, the latest version of MediaWiki for wikis on FANDOM. On April 17, 2023, Robloxiapedia administrator AmigoVilla2004 announced a game inspired by the Five Years War in Robloxia Disasters Wiki. On April 21, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat is noticing that new states have been created out of the existing ones made in 2022, and therefore Robloxiapedia is in large demand of a map update. From April 22-24, 2023, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat began experiencing sporadic inactivity as his classwork grew. On April 23, 2023, the Robloxiapedia administrator AmigoVilla2004 proposed that a third wiki be added where users can create drafts of Robloxiapedia articles, though this was met with opposition as the bureaucrat can tolerate the roughness of drafts as is. On April 27, 2023, the first ever role-play account was made in Robloxiapedia, NWSRobloxia, owned by GeorgPistinn. On April 29, 2023, the new Robloxia map was released, but was subject to criticism as many users noticed that it was not based on a map Cap27 made in 2022 and was used considerably in Robloxiapedia. Eventually, the user admitted that many people liked the 2022 map, and a new map based on Cap27's could be coming. On April 30, 2023, AmigoVilla2004 announced that events can be made, even those exclusive to the Robloxian universe. Policies were created on role-playing accounts the same day:
- No using roleplay accounts to break Robloxiapedia rules
- Roleplay account owners must disclose their original account in their userpages within 24 hours of their first edit or risk being pbanned on Robloxiapedia (your main will not be affected).
- Roleplay accounts are not exempt from Robloxiapedia policies.
- Roleplay accounts shall not be used to bypass punishments/sanctions.
- Limit one roleplay account per user... sorry!
- Robloxiapedia reserves the right to deny the right to create roleplay accounts any time.
On May 1st, Robloxiapedia used a water theme due to the fact that the old theme he used was no longer available to be reverted. On May 3rd, 2023, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat did an experiment where the edit and post counters were disabled. Nobody noticed the experiment. On May 4th, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat decided to use the Star Wars theme due to the fact a popular quotation from the movies was "May the force [fourth] be with you." AmigoVilla2004 managed to master the art of what ChikoritaTheRobloxian used to do for two consecutive years: post announcements. The dark and light themes were finally consistent in background. On May 5th, 2023, to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Robloxiapedia rebranded itself as Bloxicopedia and the theme colors changed to the colors of the Bloxican flag. AmigoVilla2004 began talking about moving on as site administrator, but fortunately he persevered. On May 7th, 2023, Robloxiapedia had a mini-moderation problem as the bureaucrat put swear words on an article, which got reverted. The user who reverted the edit was not even classified as staff.
On May 8th, the bureaucrat felt the need to tell everyone that adult and explicit content is permissible on Robloxiapedia, but users have to tell other users on the pages that such content was present. He even provided a plan just in case higher authorities were notified of this by deleting every adult content article in Robloxiapedia. He talked about COPPA screening, which he proposed an extension such that Robloxiapedia users should be allowed to view a certain page and citing its benefits due to the fact that the wiki is virtually accessible in any location, even in locations where it is the rules not to view adult and explicit content, such as school. The bureaucrat also posted a message warning users of false staff, also known as mini moderators, and telling users how they can tell a user is a staff in the platform, not a mini moderator. The bureaucrat also introduced punishments to mini moderators. The user also noticed that FANDOM Staff is not promoting Robloxiapedia, despite it having more than 4,000 pages. On May 8th, the main page got revamped, with new boxes where a Robloxiapedia user can create anything with a click of a button.
On May 10, the Robloxiapedia emblem was changed to the new Robloxia map, and the bureaucrat said that some staff can take advantage of the group slots and make group funds, as well as the bureaucrat being able to use it as a decal on Roblox. On May 11, things in Robloxiapedia began renaming themselves without any form of staff consensus, which led to ChikoritaTheRobloxian trying to stop it. LightningRBLX told staff that what they were doing is considered to be a preventative measure to the fourth wall. On May 12th, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat ChikoritaTheRobloxian left Robloxiapedia for a record amount of time: six days. This was owing to finals, and the bureaucrat was very unconfident that he could pass them without delegating some time off Robloxiapedia.
@everyone , I have announced that I would be taking a considerable time off to delegate some study time, so this is it. I would not be editing nor policing the Robloxiapedia for possibly what could be the longest time. I used to be a daily contributor and policer of Robloxiapedia before schoolwork intervened on this. Therefore, all the staff ( @Robloxiapedia Staff Members ) have to work extra hard during this unprecedented time. I apologize for this, and I hope to get back online soon. -chikoritatherobloxian
While the bureaucrat left, the renaming countries movement began getting widespread acceptance, and the user M3469167519676595 posted something (he posted a lot of things, telling the bureaucrat to work on his articles) which made a lot of Robloxiapedia users angry due to the fact that the bureaucrat was not around, and he annoyed Robloxiapedia users. Some users even believed that M3469167519676595 was a bot on the wiki, though the bureaucrat denies it because the bot was apparently human (makes articles that are good, at least). The bureaucrat also set the theme to greyscale to make it seem like a tragedy occurred. The bureaucrat was not entirely on wikibreak, and occasionally he showed up just to post something. On May 16th, 2023, FANDOM added a Recent Images header to every wiki, and Robloxiapedia bureaucrat took advantage of it.
On May 18th, 2023, the bureaucrat returned slightly, still stressed. Also on May 18th, the bureaucrat said that the City of Thailand, Robloxiapedia's longest page, was at risk of being defeated by longer and longer pages, particularly those made by MatthewPlayThrought. On May 18th, 2023, AmigoVilla2004 noticed that a lot of events of Robloxiapedia were wars, and the canon of Robloxiapedia is no longer stable, with new historical events contradicting other events. The Robloxia map was again updated to include Redcliff City on May 19, 2023, which the bureaucrat took it slightly seriously. RyokoSakura even criticized the lore in Robloxiapedia, stating that Brookhaven is a town, and Livetopia is four islands, not one unified city, on May 19-20, 2023. On May 21st, the bureaucrat spoke to the bot that the bot would be able to contribute to Robloxiapedia, but have no Discussions involvement. A user named Le0011x decided to create his own version of Robloxia. This was met with disapproval before ChikoritaTheRobloxian decided to create a category saying that it is permitted, but it is supposed to be placed under Non Robloxiapedian Content.
On May 22nd, the bureaucrat, very upset that Discord has refused to listen to its community by removing discriminators, proceeded to threaten the Discord platform by presenting an ultimatum: the Discord will be shut down if discriminators are removed. On May 24th, JustARandomPersonWhoLileTheFrustratedGamer finally quit robloxiapedia after over 100+ edits and making it to 19th place. On May 26th, users reported that discriminators are being removed in future updates, causing the bureaucrat to send a PSA advocating that users should not update Discord. Also, Robloxiapedia badges (unlike FANDOM badges) are announced to be revived, but users can opt to put them on their user pages if they feel like they want to flex.
On May 28th, the bureaucrat felt that TeamCities was almost done, so he pushed himself to work harder. While he worked harder, he found out that no Robloxian has ever made a city that started with the letter X throughout the wiki's 11-year history. Recently, Robloxiapedia on May 31st was blocked by schools using Securly, after 11 years of becoming an excellent mirror wiki to the Roblox Wiki. The bureaucrat believed that the reason for the block, "games", was complete bullshit; Robloxiapedia was not a guide to a particular game, and it was supposed to be a fan universe. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat presented two options: either complain to the developers of Securly, the internet filter, or transfer Robloxiapedia to an unblocked domain, the latter not recommended by other staff members due to its expensive cost. To fight this out, the bureaucrat devoted his time to post three announcements, the last of which was a possible theory on how Robloxiapedia could have been blocked. Other staff members believed that teachers may have been notified of Robloxiapedia's existence and decided to contact Securly to block it.
On May 31, 2023, Robloxiapedia changed to the Pride Month doodle. On June 1, 2023, the bureaucrat said that he had been bureaucrat for two years in Robloxiapedia. On June 4, 2023, the bureaucrat warned that if the site block on Robloxiapedia is any indication of a precedent, more wikis like Robloxiapedia (universe lore about a video game) would be blocked in the future. On June 5, 2023, the bureaucrat announced that he might become slightly active owing to schoolwork. On June 6, 2023, another game, called Altham, was released (independent from the Robloxiapedia Fan Group due to the creator not having staff). Meanwhile, the bureaucrat was criticizing the fact that there was a opaque watermark on every image on Robloxiapedia, which is very annoying. On June 7, 2023, a disaster struck the Eastern United States, namely pollution from the Canadian wildfires. There was no donation links to the event due to the fact that FANDOM prohibited users to post donation links, but allowed users to tell users to donate. On June 9, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat noticed that one of his wikis adopted the Pride Month theme, so he copied some aspects of it to Robloxiapedia. He even changed the theme colors, and promised users free staff for the rest of the month if he was informed on a way to get "Celebrating Pride Month" to appear next to the wiki's name. On June 10, 2023, he warned that users will start experiencing a fictional plague called Nodiscriminatoritis, in which users of the platform have no discriminator. He also said that he plans to speedrun his introductory art class in college after his professor released everything on the first day. He has completed the speedrun after two weeks of arduous work and is currently waiting until August to finish the work. On June 11, 2023, the bureaucrat told everyone that his browser apparently crashes every time he does something apparently constructive, but his browser is a bleeding edge one, therefore he expects this to occur. He also posted a tutorial which still works on how a user can skip the process of updating their username indefinitely, thus ensuring they have a discriminator forever.
On June 14, 2023, the bureaucrat said that he has been forced to update to a new username, which caused him to inform everyone that the discriminator purge is beginning and he stated that everyone must press a button to escape from the purge. Several users in Robloxiapedia started to update to their new username, contrary to what was expected, but ChikoritaTheRobloxian decided to give those users a flair-like role called No-Discriminators, in which those users will be mocked at heavily at the server. ChikoritaTheRobloxian even stated that he threatens to stage a shutdown of the server in protest of this change and plan to make the Roblox Group a primary form of communication , of which it was opposed due to users liking the Discord. He told users that if users do not do the change, they will have a red dot in Settings, but they can ignore it and move on. The user is currently concerned whether Discord would start banning users because they opposed this change, but he hoped this would not happen as Discord hopefully would not become like Roblox.
Robloxiapedia ripoff and more dramas (2023-present)
On June 15, 2023, the user created a thread that would later become a very important thread dedicated to investigating a new wiki.
On June 16, 2023, the bureaucrat spoke out on the disadvantages of the discriminator removal, such as users willing to buy accounts that have their dream username on the Discord black market, only to find out they are being scammed, or the fact that discriminators have not had any significant problems since it was added in 2015, and the fact that Discord could remove the memorialized discriminator badge without warning or community consensus. The bureaucrat also started to speak out about a wiki that he found on FANDOM that apparently made him very upset, thus beginning the Colton2022 drama, Robloxiapedia's second drama of June.
In his Discussion post advocating for the United States of Robloxia wiki (the wiki in question)'s demise, he said that while he believes that the Republic of Roblox wiki could be kept due to the fact it was advertised in good faith, he believed that the other wiki was made by a user of Robloxiapedia who posted pride month threats on Discussions and had to be blocked for one week (which was upgraded to until July, then eventually banned). He believed that the user he made was an alt to ColtShark, a user who vandalized the BloxTok page six months prior to the making of the post and since then, has presumed to be silent since, but in reality, was making a Robloxiapedia "ripoff", according to the bureaucrat. The bureaucrat took several restrictive actions on the users, such as banning his alts from the entire Robloxiapedia community. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat even went further and implemented the first ever poison bans on the wiki, which banned a specific IP address from editing in Robloxiapedia due to it presumably belonging to the user. In the post, ChikoritaTheRobloxian even charged the wiki for idea plagiarism and labeled the wiki as "fanon". The wiki is to be decided to either be destroyed or left as is, as an independent wiki from the entire Robloxiapedia. Initially, ChikoritaTheRobloxian advocated vandalism as a solution because the wiki can be destroyed very easily due to a lack of wiki protection and Colton2022 has become inactive for six months. Unfortunately, the solution failed as Colton2022 somehow was able to inform higher authority about the situation (A SOAP bot was called to clean up the vandalism in the wiki, which rapidly undone the attack) and Colton2022 was active the next day, and all the users who vandalized the wiki were blocked for two weeks from the entire platform due to a lack of administrator action.
The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat then staged an alternative plan: using an alt and making "excellent" contributions to convince Colton2022 to promote a certain user as bureaucrat, then using the bureaucrat to seize control of the wiki and delete the entire wiki, while enlisting users as administrator to aid the effort. He even took advantage by saying that Colton2022 should not be able to view the master plan as the bureaucrat will ban Colton2022 from the Discord. The user in question even decided to put Adolf Hitler on pages.
After this incident, ChikoritaTheRobloxian said that vandalism should not be used to destroy the competitive wiki after AmigoVilla2004 posted that he plans to block users if the user vandalized the wiki. However, users started to harass the creator of the wiki, and Colton2022 even gave some users death threats. Even several users started to roast the user and mock his username, calling him Ripoff2022 (chikoritatherobloxian) and Shiton2022 (coralref). On June 18, 2023, ChikoritaTheRobloxian was informed that VPNs were able to circumvent the user's global block from the platform. ChikoritaTheRobloxian said that the "Robloxia" page was so low quality that it was obviously made by a user from a wiki where he is the only active one and has 25 pages. ChikoritaTheRobloxian said that due to Colton2022 preferring social privacy, it is impossible to take corrective actions on his account.
On June 20, 2023, ChikoritaTheRobloxian decided to release the IP addresses owned by Colton2022 privately so that he does not get caught by doing so. On June 24, 2022, ChikoritaTheRobloxian noticed the silence of Colton2022 reaching the one week mark. He wondered if Colton2022 was either scheming or has left the wiki to do other things. In the meantime, he noticed no more edits and pages being created on the wiki, which meant no active users. He even noticed that FANDOM has not even taken any action whatsoever on the wiki, not even deleting it. He is currently awaiting Colton2022 to move the wiki to another wiki host.
On June 25, 2023 the 3rd drama appeared, after witnessing several users complaining that a long page (100,000 bytes to be exact) were causing browsers to crash upon reading or writing, ChikoritaTheRobloxian deleted the long page. ChikoritaTheRobloxian said that he was considering on whether to implement a policy banning pages longer than 100,000 bytes unless they split themselves to two or more pages within a month. This policy was met with huge criticism, with 80% of users saying that long pages are actually decent in Robloxiapedia.
On June 28, 2023, nxteonx affirmed Robloxiapedia by saying that the Cineblox page was actually allowed to be put on FANDOM thanks to Loui allowing them to do this after they viewed the page on Robloxiapedia.
On June 29, 2023, ChikoritaTheRobloxian said that the drama has been resolved, and the user is now moving on to the Minecraft version of the same topic, which needlessly to say, is different from the Robloxiapedia idea. On July 1, 2023, ChikoritaTheRobloxian said that Colton2022 has also been blacklisted from staff due to giving staff death threats.
On July 4, 2023, the first ever city to start with the letter X, namely Xi'blox, was added to Robloxiapedia after twelve years. On July 5, 2023, another underaged Robloxiapedia user, Progamer1997 (9 years old) was caught by the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat for being underaged on the platform and was blocked for four years before being unblocked due to the fact FANDOM had already taken global action against the user in question. On July 6, 2023, in an attempt to increase the prevalence and the existence of Children's Online Privacy Protection Act protection on the Internet, especially Robloxiapedia, the bureaucrat added a notice stating that users should log out if they are under 13 and not make any contributions on the wiki if they are attempting to create a new page. On July 8, 2023, the wiki lapsed temporarily into inactive status but was active again shortly after. On July 11, 2023, the wiki users started to become annoyed by FANDOM asking them if they were a child or an adult on the platform and obstructing their ability to edit until they answered the question. The bureaucrat conjectured that the notice is an age gate designed to protect certain users from viewing age-restricted content in Robloxiapedia and assured that this method he used to remove the notice would never be patched. On July 12, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat provided more information, including the fact that the age gate was just an experimental feature which unfortunately was not designed well, meaning that it failed to block certain Robloxiapedia users from viewing such adult content. He once again predicted that the age gate would become a large update in which users can choose what audiences can view the content, such as all ages or for adults only. He is still uncertain on whether FANDOM would be implementing age verification, but he assures that children selecting "I'm an adult" would be able to view adult content. He states that this reminds him of an early era when age verification by identification is considered to be risky and that all users had to do was to put a fake birthday onto their targeted page to view the targeted page. He also gives two potential alternative scenarios, one of which in which the age gate is used by FANDOM to catch underaged users in a much easier way, and the other is that it is a demographic survey.
On July 15, 2023, the first ever Robloxiapedia staff to retire from the position since 2021 was AmigoVilla2004, who said that he worked for three years to make the wiki to grow to a much more attractive size. On July 20, 2023, the user "A normal person in a world" removed content from the Robloxia article twice, leading to the page and the user being protected for a week. On July 23, 2023, the Robloxiapedia wiki turned 12 years old. However, celebrations were muted due to very few contributors online on the wiki, and the wiki only had a font change that day. Several users wished the wiki did more to celebrate, such as reverting the wiki back to its original theme, having a quiz on the history of the wiki itself, and a game on the wiki. On July 23, 2023, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat realized that the wiki is surprisingly more active than any time before; 114 active users on the wiki made the wiki reach the triple digits for the first time in recorded wiki history. On July 28, 2023, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat removed the last boxes used to create articles on Robloxiapedia due to the fact that most users were using them and creating unintentional blank pages.
On August 4, 2023, after the creation of a page that was not in English, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat decided to let users vote on whether articles on Robloxiapedia should be written in one unified language or not. This poll ended up in a tie, with ten users voting Yes, and ten users voting No. Users who supported it are presumed to have believed that making Robloxiapedia in another language would increase their fanbase by transcluding non-English speaking users, while users who rejected it are presumed to believe that translating an entire encyclopedia to another language would result in a mass exploitation of user resources. The bureaucrat responded no due to the fact that the wiki was primarily in English. On August 7, 2023, AnExpiredPear wanted to decide whether he should create another wiki, just for him. Users who voted No were presumed to have believed that they would miss AnExpiredPear if he moved on with his wiki creation project. The bureaucrat supported his proposal (just to break the tie; he was neutral on the subject) and even included his thoughts on the advantages of an individual wiki project and a group wiki project, and the only disadvantage of a individual wiki project.
Making a wiki for you only is very difficult to do in FANDOM, because sooner or later, people will find your wiki and edit it. You could protect the wiki to ensure that only you can edit it (make every page protected and do not give anybody administrator privileges, also protect your talk page and user page to prevent users from requesting such rights, and also prevent users from creating new pages). You can also start a collab with anyone, which is easier and also makes a wiki a wiki in the first place. I am neutral in the manner, but I am not sure if breaks FANDOM Terms of Use. I am however, advocating for this option because I have to break the tie somehow. Go for it, expired pear.
The bureaucrat even went on to create a policy regarding whether derivatives would be allowed in Robloxiapedia, stating that derivatives should only be allowed with the bureaucrat's permission. He even stated that since Colton2022 created a encyclopedia that he did not ask permission for, he has been accused of creating a rip-off wiki. On September 5, 2023, the bureaucrat lamented that he was very inactive in Discussions and vows to be more active there. He then noted that the United States of Robloxia wiki drama, which has presumed to be subsided 2 months ago, is still ongoing and has dramatically escalated to the point where Colton2022 has disliked the bureaucrat and has declared a wiki war. He believes that some other means can resolve the matter. On September 9, 2023, ChikoritaTheRobloxian slightly busted the myth that the encyclopedia was dead due to schoolwork, stating that the wiki only had a small decline in active users due to school, and that some users in the wiki must be adults with no formal post-secondary education. However, the bureaucrat states that despite him possessing formal post-secondary education, his activity in the wiki is still as powerful as he did prior to school starting. On September 10, 2023, morphmeatball, a Robloxiapedia user, revealed that he was going to Grade 6 soon, which caused users to think that he was 6th grade in the United States, which caused many users to believe that he was underaged on the wiki. However, ChikoritaTheRobloxian said that due to the fact that this is only a grade, plus the fact that students can be held back, or Grade 6 could be a different age, means that this is not proof that the said user is underaged. He also provided a note to FANDOM Staff, saying that there is inconclusive evidence. On September 12, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat announced that the primary theme would start changing to an autumn theme, owing to the fact that summer is over, and the "Water" theme is no longer apropos for the scene. He announced that the top header of the wiki would be changed to something resembling a skybox in Roblox. The title of the skybox is to be guessed by users, but due to the fact that the post was locked, nobody was able to do so. The title of the skybox would later be revealed in this page to be the Walls of Autumn skybox, which is one of the classic Roblox skyboxes. On September 17, 2023, the bureaucrat drafted a warning that would be placed on a user page if they spammed edits on Robloxiapedia. Also, the bureaucrat found his oldest account that contributed to the wiki (Chikorita152b) and compared the wiki's size back then and the wiki's former name. On September 19, 2023, FANDOM started bugging out, so Robloxiapedia bureaucrat had to remove everything customized just for the wiki. He even noted that a special series of tags can be put onto any talk page signature to make it seem like a user was FANDOM staff, but deleted the post to make sure nobody knew about it. He also noted that the search feature started to bug out and recommended a workaround. Later, FANDOM was fixed globally, and all the customizations were brought back. On September 23, 2023, the Colton2022 drama still not being resolved, ChikoritaTheRobloxian said that he would be planning on having staff report Colton2022 to FANDOM Staff to get him banned from the platform or his wiki closed:
Despite our strongest efforts to coerce Colton2022 to surrender during our internal wiki conflict, Colton2022 is still adamant on our wiki's eventual collapse and death. Colton2022 even repeatedly gave more members death threats. We have no option to pursue but the nuclear option. We are now suggesting that all Robloxiapedia staff (I will be excluded) contact FANDOM Staff to report intimidating behavior on the individual or close the wiki altogether. Together, we can block this user from this platform or at least block his wiki from competing in the Robloxiapedia universe.
He positively affirmed users that he would have 10,000 edits. He also noted that the Kellanbigmoney page has been blanked too many times by one particular user on September 20, 2023, and due to this, ComradeDoggo became blocked on the wiki for one week. The Kellanbigmoney page was also protected fully for one week to prevent further blankings. During this time, Chikorita decided to recreate the article. On September 23, a user wanted to add a category to the page but was not able to do so. The bureaucrat decided to add the same category to the page. Also, the bureaucrat announced his first ever game played in the Roblox platform in the 2020s and told users that roleplaying could happen here without having to be disrupted. He also told users that the game is dead and that he is moving on to more popular games on the platform. On September 27, 2023, the Kellanbigmoney page was unprotected, and he said that the page had inappropriate content without properly disclosing it.
He decided to censor the inappropriate content by placing it in inappropriate things rather than putting an adult content notice. Later, the user Kellanbigmoney repeatedly reverted the article of his name to a certain version. (it is an inside joke, started by CoralREF that the user Kellanbigmoney is Kellanbigmoney himself, and the bureaucrat has supported this theory due to the fact the page is often times replaced with the same page but written as if it were a meme on Earth, beginning on September 28, which led to the bureaucrat semi-protecting the page to prevent his version of the page from ever being displayed and to make sure more experienced users can edit the page). He also noted that today is Google's birthday, so he decided to color the wiki and change the font of the wiki to make it look like it came from Google. On September 29, AnExpiredPear noted that libel was being written against him on the Dahood wiki, but the bureaucrat said that the user does not have any control over the users on the wiki. However, LightningRBLX edited the page, falsifying the libel. Also, on September 29, Andro Tan told ChikoritaTheRobloxian that he is planning on quitting Robloxiapedia due to the fact he got blocked on Robloxia Disasters Wiki for no reason. The bureaucrat denied allegations that this was true because he was not blocked on the wiki, and later added that a reason was truly provided on the previous block.
On October 1st, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat was informed that another rip-off wiki had been created without his knowledge and permission under the name Robloxiapedia. This became known as the Robloxiapedia Copyright Incident. The wiki was subject to investigation and a vandal attack. On October 2nd, it had been revealed that the users of the wiki were inactive beginning in August and September. On October 3rd, the buttons from the rival encyclopedia were implemented on the encyclopedia's main page. On October 4th, Robloxiapedia user morphmeatball001 would vandalize the competitor, calling it Lamepedia and blanking all its pages. On October 6th, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat declared victory over semi-protecting the Kellanbigmoney page, as the page was not edited by the namesake itself. Also, morphmeatball001 suggested a DMCA takedown approach, but the bureaucrat ignored it due to the fact that he felt like something could be done. Also on that date, for the first time, word came from the owners of the competitor that the Robloxiapedia clone was independent of the entire wiki due to the fact that most of the pages were not directly copied and moved from here. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat was hoping that the name would be changed to something else to end the incident. Coblands started to make low-quality content on Robloxiapedia, which was frowned upon by CORALREF, but approved by ChikoritaTheRobloxian nonetheless.
On October 7th, morphmeatball and CORALREF would start another drama in Robloxiapedia. CoralREF would first put damaging speculation about morphmeatball on his page, to which morphmeatball never approved and quickly reverted the edit containing the said rumors. Eventually, morphmeatball tried to become the protagonist of Robloxiapedia by making him the president of Robloxia. On October 8th, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat said that the name of Robloxiapedia might be changed to avoid potential confusion. On October 10, 2023, as the Israel-Hamas conflict was about to unfold, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat joked about the conflict, then affirmed readers that the article would never be in Robloxiapedia due to the fact it was ongoing. On an unknown date, but presumably prior to October 11th, morphmeatball started to evade his account terminations from the FANDOM platform, creating alternative accounts. The bureaucrat on October 11th said that morphmeatball was innocent and did not deserve to get globally blocked from the platform, then went on to rant about global blocks, as those blocks tend to prevent users from contributing on every wiki, even those that they have not broken any rules of.
He said that while he might have not done anything wrong in Robloxiapedia, he might have done something in other encyclopedias that caused FANDOM to become aware that he was vandalistic in nature or revealed that he was underage. Various users spoke out about morphmeatball's innocence and his attempts to become the main character of the wiki. One theory got particularly popular due to the fact that the bureaucrat did not want to lock it and ended up getting 16 replies. On October 12th, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat said that morphmeatball also applied for Robloxiapedia staff and that his application is placed on hold, and he is threatening to blacklist morphmeatball from staff based on recent drama. On October 18th, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat said that the hate towards Colton2022 was justified. On October 19th, the Robloxiapedia copyright incident was solved when the potential lawsuit was rescinded due to the fact Robloxiapedia users. On October 23rd, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat said that fictional characters are allowed on Robloxiapedia, as this precedent was established when MatthewPlayThrought arrived to the encyclopedia. On October 27th, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat believed that a vandal attack was foiled by an unlikely hero on the wiki working for FANDOM staff and started noting that the wiki would start need to be patrolled during night hours.
On November 2, 2023, CORALREF said that Robloxiapedia does not need any more country articles as the quantity started to increase, becoming more important than the quality of the country articles. This opinion was approved by HolUserBoing2. Robloxiapedia, however, would continue to produce country articles, but those would be done sparingly. Instead, there would be emphasis on creating celebrity and business articles. On November 5, 2023, Nxteonx notified Robloxiapedia users that Daylight Saving Time is about to expire. On November 6, 2023, Robloxiapedia bureaucrat said that there were 5,280 pages by indirectly saying that if each article was one foot, then the encyclopedia would be a mile. MatthewPlayThrought then began criticizing the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat for his frequent locking of posts on November 7, 2023, which led ChikoritaTheRobloxian to post a meme on the same day describing his situation now that he was exposed of locking posts. On November 8, 2023, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat experimented with a post that he chose to leave unlocked. In the post, he admitted that locking posts was wrong and parodied a common AI catchphrase ("As an artificial intelligence model"). MatthewPlayThrought claimed victory over the locking of the posts. On November 10, 2023, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat promised to lock his posts after a week he posted them. However, he failed to obey this promise. On November 11, 2023, HolUserBoing2 affirmed to Robloxiapedia users that he was active.
On the same day, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat decided to parody the increase in the number of country articles in Robloxiapedia by writing a satirical article that stated that every subatomic article in the Roblox world had simultaneously declared independence (it is implied that by making this post, the bureaucrat showed his support of it as well). He included some subatomic particulate jokes that were too esoteric for the modern audience. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat then wished everyone a Happy Veteran's Day and decided to disambiguate between a veteran in Robloxiapedia and a veteran in the real world. AnExpiredPear later agreed to the same thing that no more countries should be added to the Roblox world. A poll was created in which users had to choose which Robloxia version was better, despite there being a consensus that the Robloxia map was most ideal. AnExpiredPear then said that users can add icons to infoboxes to signify that a Robloxian is arrested or dead. On November 12, 2023, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat decided to say Happy Diwali. On the same day, a list of praise and criticism of Robloxiapedia was made, showing every criticism and praise of Robloxiapedia in one post. Users also pointed out that there were many articles in Robloxiapedia that would be considered stubs in Wikipedia. The bureaucrat said the greatest criticism, stating that the wiki was small according to FANDOM staff despite having 5,000 pages.
A small game was played with Robloxiapedia users, stating that users need to type the year the user they turned 10, followed by the words "roblox gif", and send the first result to the replies on November 13, 2023. A "Fans Explaining" like thread was created on the same day. On November 21, 2023, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat told users where the site icons came from. On November 22, 2023, the font on Robloxiapedia changed for the first time in two years to Source Sans Pro after the bureaucrat reported that he could not have the font on the encyclopedia due to technical issues on his end. MatthewPlayThrought then added swear words to his Robloxians article. On November 23, 2023, MatthewPlayThrought wished users a happy Thanksgiving. On November 24, 2023, MatthewPlayThrought expressed concerns about the wiki's death. However, it was revealed to the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat that the wiki experiences a death-like state every Friday. However, the death state went for another day. On November 25, 2023, themorphmeatball announced that he would be quitting Robloxiapedia and moving on to a wiki that he made on his own, namely the Morphmeatball Fan Club (he actually did not quit). The most replied to discussion was made by Nxteonx on this day, with 43 replies before being locked by the user because Morphmeatball would start rudely harassing users and becoming racist, as well as several other users behaving similarly. MatthewPlayThrought reported that he was nearing completion of his renowned Robloxians article.
On November 26, 2023, users began to express doubts about morphmeatball and his alternative accounts, as well as his newly created encyclopedia. Robloxiapedia users began to conjecture that given that he lives in Canada and the United States, his house might be in the border. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat announced that he may lapse to a temporary retirement and affirmed to users that the original Roblox death sound was uploaded to Robloxiapedia. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat also investigated the encyclopedia and decided to give neutral praise to the encyclopedia, saying that it had a protected main page unlike the other two wikis. However, it was revealed that the encyclopedia was created without any permission from the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat, and that the user involved was self-promoting his encyclopedia, which violates the Discussion guidelines. On November 28, 2023, a universal disparity was found on a Robloxiapedia article. The universal disparity had been resolved simply by anonymizing the bullies. On November 29, 2023, Robloxiapedia fictionalized every kaiju on the encyclopedia. On the same day, Kellanbigmoney (as an alternative account) returned to Robloxiapedia and edited his namesake page again, reverting the page back to what it was before. Robloxiapedia bureaucrat said that the page was unprotected so that all users could edit and that he would be reinstating the protection on it. On the same day, TheExpiredPear announced that he could potentially be quitting Robloxiapedia after he experienced significant trouble in real life. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat was criticized on November 30, 2023 for changing the theme to grayscale, as users believed it hackneyed.
2024
In 2024, Robloxiapedia would create an article about the year 2024, which would spark a trend of articles about other calendar years. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat voluntarily participated in this and created an 2040 article. Whether the article remains canon is yet to be seen, but it is known that the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat has made 2040 effectively a mass extinction event in Roblox.
As January 2024 passed, Robloxiapedia's Discussions became littered with news articles (obviously fictional) about famous celebrities in Robloxia dying suddenly. This littering may have been inspired by the recent departures of famous YouTubers such as MatPat planning on departing the platform permanently. Over time, the trend was seen as cliche, and eventually, satirical articles and news articles poking fun of the trend were created. Eventually, a theory on how the deaths were caused was distributed in Robloxiapedia as an article about a mysterious Robloxian named e251atirokihc who was rumored to have been responsible for all of the deaths and vanished on January 25, 2024 when attempting to kill chikorita152e (this was allegory for showing that the death trend cannot continue). By the end of January 2024, Robloxiapedia secretly signed a pledge saying that no celebrities should be killed on February (i.e. No Fatalities February) and no mass shootings should occur on March (No Mass Shootings March).
On February 9, 2024, chikorita152e departed from this platform, after the recent enabling of comment sections on the platform. This would be a second chance (since the inception of Robloxiapedia) for users to comment on articles. JustARandomPersonWhoLileTheFrustratedGamer then came back after a few months. Around the month of February and early March there were too many parallel universes mostly created by new users, some posts were made on “should people stop making parallel universes?”.
On March 2024, the 4th Robloxiapedia drama occurred. On March 3rd, 2024, Robloxiapedia users criticized a user named The 4121, a user who joined in February 2024, for making countries and featured the flags of the countries in Discussions posts, giving them a controversial tone. The 4121 said that the flags were not meant to be controversial. Several users believed that The 4121 was an undisclosed CORALREF alternative account, which if verified, could led to the immediate blocking of this account for failure to disclose this viral information. Some users thought The 4121 was an account to evade administrative action (though in reality, no users can fully evade administrative action). Meanwhile BACKIE001 joined Robloxiapedia. BACKIE001 was innocent until an illuminating poll incident revealed the truth. This poll was meant to ask users whether or not they liked CORALREF. Unfortunately, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat realized that this poll was an attack poll and locked the poll to prevent any more responses from being received. Most users said that CORALREF was innocent and the user did not do anything that violates the Robloxiapedia rules.
Eventually, the comment sections of articles degraded. Users began to attack other users, reaching to the point where even a racist slur was uttered. This led to the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat's decision to disable comment sections once again. Meanwhile, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat suggested that the comment section should be used for the general discussion on the article's subject and on the article itself, not to be used as an attack comment section. He says until he finds a solution to the crisis, comment sections will remain disabled. He hopes that one day, there will be a sticky header on a comment section that outlines the rules of the comment sections (he may need to use a FANDOM extension for this).
The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat returned to semi-activity on March 16, 2024. The Robloxiapedia bureaucrat until April 2nd occasionally made new articles and performs edits. On April 1, 2024, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat pulled an April Fools joke, stating that the encyclopedia surrendered to morphmeatball and that the encyclopedia would now produce content that would praise morphmeatball. In reality, only minor and vandalistic edits were done, such as pasting a message that accepts morphmeatball as a true god.[1][2]
On early April, Robloxiapedia users started to leave Robloxiapedia in what came to be known as the 2024 Robloxiapedia Mass Exodus, while Robloxiapedia was embracing the trend of daycare articles, with the subject of daycares using unethical tactics. ChikoritaTheRobloxian hypothesized that he may have caused this when he left Robloxiapedia but acknowledges other reasons, such as some of the encyclopedia members growing up and realizing that they cannot contribute to Robloxiapedia for the rest of their lives. One believed that a specific user is to blame.[3] Some users said that the reason was not on a specific user. Some users particularly noticed that most users simply declined to provide a reason. Other users provided a reason. Yet some others refused to let others know that they are moving on or leaving (including ChikoritaTheRobloxian). In a desperate attempt to revitalize the community, ChikoritaTheRobloxian on April 18th decided to create a poll on the fate of the community (in case all users leave) while hoping this would ironically create a unified community devoted to discussing its fate.[4] ChikoritaTheRobloxian then said that he has not quit but said that he is going to be inactive again and this is one of his fleeting opportunities to contribute to Robloxiapedia while schoolwork is present. Some users conjectured that the most toxic user polls (A Discussions trend) may have had an influence on the quitting of users (which led to ChikoritaTheRobloxian creating a satirical poll while asking users not to create those polls, hinting on a potential administrative action which ChikoritaTheRobloxian never chose to pursue but could pursue in the future). Others conjectured that the departure was caused by the "quitting" of ChikoritaTheRobloxian and AmigoVilla2004.
Attempts to revive Robloxiapedia
On April 22nd, 2024, Robloxiapedia announced the beginning of a new encyclopedia event: the Robloxiapedia YouTube Premiere Week.[5] On the first day, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat introduced to the world of Discussions that Robloxiapedia has a YouTube Channel, and they could subscribe to it to celebrate the first day of the five days that are allocated fully to the event. After five days, the Robloxiapedia channel has amassed 13 subscribers, most of which are presumed to be Robloxiapedians interested and willing to invest on the channel's future.
A page was devoted to housing Robloxiapedia's social media accounts, starting on April 27, 2024.[6] Next, there was a planned reformations on Discussions Guidelines, which was completed on May 3, 2024. On April 30, 2024, users expressed fear that the revival attempts might not be sufficient to revitalize the Robloxiapedian Discussions community, due to the fact that top prominent users such as TheExpiredPear and MatthewPlayThrought were not communicating with the community (although the latter said he was planning on writing a post but scrapped it due to personal reasons). On April 30, 2024, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat announced the deprecation of the Robloxia Disasters/RSCPs/Histories encyclopedia, ending the encyclopedia's three-year run as a separate entity of the Robloxiapedia community as once proposed by AmigoVilla2004 in June 2021 in response to a surging tide in disaster and RSCP articles (primarily caused by ChikoritaTheRobloxian's predecessor and AmigoVilla2004).[7] This was because the bureaucrat blindly approving certain article types on Robloxiapedia and he wanted Robloxiapedia to be like Wikipedia. The deprecation was planned on June 16, 2024[8][9][10][11], and would result in the entire encyclopedia being deleted and protected from having new pages in an attempt to have FANDOM to delete the encyclopedia due to inactivity.[12]
The Project for a New Robloxiapedia (May 2024)
The project for a New Robloxiapedia was a project that the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat wanted to tackle, besides his academics. This was intrinsically motivated by the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat been frequently informed of his community's fate on Discussions. This was later sharply contrasted by ChikoritaTheRobloxian's view, saying that thousands are about to embrace the new Robloxiapedia he was making. Several users sided with the more optimistic vision. On May 5, 2024, ChikoritaTheRobloxian began removing soft redirects created by the Spoken Robloxiapedia project. This was completed in one hour, and as a result, ChikoritaTheRobloxian broke a record for the greatest number of edits ever performed on the encyclopedia, beating ChikoritaROBLOXHurricane's 11,874. As a result, ChikoritaTheRobloxian and his alternative accounts have now done an estimated 40% of all contributions on the encyclopedia.
On May 9, 2024, ChikoritaTheRobloxian created a legal page after one user complained that Robloxiapedia was being treated as a reliable source[13] by search engines.[14] This legal page clarified that Robloxiapedia is a fan fiction encyclopedia and that the content is not to be taken seriously, while directing users to view the Roblox wiki if they want a canon source of information.
On May 21, 2024, ChikoritaTheRobloxian decided to take advantage of a Roblox event, The Classic. To do this, he replaced the Roblox Studio logo with The Classic logo. The same day, under a series of posts, he took down Robloxiapedia (i.e. disabled users from creating new pages) under the pretext of staff maintenance, then proceeded to transfer every article on the Robloxia Disasters Wiki to Robloxiapedia. [15][16] The decision was presumably made because to a reduction in popularity on the main wiki, primarily because the Robloxia Disasters Wiki was less active in comparison to the main wiki. When ChikoritaTheRobloxian was interviewed, he argued that he wants to moderate only one encyclopedia, and that he wants Robloxiapedia to become like Wikipedia, covering a wide scope of content. Unfortunately, the logo change was relatively short lived, as the change was reverted on May 22, 2024, despite the fact The Classic was not over yet (in fact, it has not even begun).
On May 22-28, 2024, ChikoritaTheRobloxian began working on a game themed on the Bloxburg Revolution, which was temporarily paused due to vacation. When asked for the rationale behind this game, he argued that since the Bloxburg Revolution is getting more popular, it should be reasonable to create a game based on the revolution itself. This led to Robloxiapedia being relatively unmaintained. ChikoritaTheRobloxian swears that he would innovate the game in the coming days.
The 4121 v. Robloxiapedia Drama
The 4121 v. Robloxiapedia Community Drama was a lengthy drama in Robloxiapedia, occurring on the last week of May. First instigated when The 4121 violated the Robloxiapedia Discussion Guidelines multiple times in rapid succession, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat made the decision to ban him from the platform to prevent him from ever violating any more guidelines. The immediate response to the ban was a strong support, as users cited him for creating low-quality articles on Robloxiapedia and that from this day forward, Robloxiapedia will be greatly emphasized on its quality of its content. In a community poll, a weak majority of users agreed that his articles should be deleted on Robloxiapedia, to which ChikoritaTheRobloxian swore to promise to delete them as soon as possible.
However, the ban was done with controversy. In the Roblox group wall, The 4121 was clearly apologizing to ChikoritaTheRobloxian for his recent Discussion Guidelines violations. At first, The 4121's apology was rejected by ChikoritaTheRobloxian, fearing that he might return back to his old ways of violating the guidelines. As time went on, Andro Tan, another Robloxiapedia user, told ChikoritaTheRobloxian in a roleplay message that the bureaucrat was going to be reprimanded for the decision. Following this, ChikoritaTheRobloxian decided to pay a visit to the Roblox group wall, where he saw The 4121's alternate Roblox account clearly apologizing. When he saw this, he clearly realized the error of his ways and said that while the majority of the Robloxiapedia community wanted the pages to be deleted, he argued that the apology made him heartbroken and thus decided to unban him from the community, provided the user apologizes to everyone in Discussions. On May 29, 2024, The 4121 apologized to everyone in the Robloxiapedia community. The majority of the users forgave him. This drama became known as the first time a Robloxiapedia user got banned and was willing to change, rather than leaving the platform permanently as indicated by the nature of the ban.
Vandalism and future
Robloxiapedia was briefly vandalized on June 7, 2024, when a user posted a pornographic picture based on Roblox. The picture was taken down, and the user would be blacklisted. But after several users damaged the wiki once more the next day, it was placed under lockdown for two days[17], until Nicked1337, who created several accounts was permanently banned.[18] Several users received promotions to become administrators as a result.[19] Starting on July 6, because of edit inflation concerns, Robloxiapedia disabled editing counters and added new rules, though this feature was reverted back due to edit counters being a core functionality of FANDOM. [20][21] As of July 12, 2024, there are current plans to re-enabled comments.[22]
On late July 2024, Robloxiapedia was vandalized again. This caused the bureaucrat to enable one of the harshest lockdowns on the encyclopedia. It was later revealed that the encyclopedia vandalism was a part of a larger vandalism project designated solely to vandalize FANDOM wikis that mocked the vandal and that all the vandalism had been well planned in advance. The user's Discord server was reported by ChikoritaTheRobloxian to be supporting off-platform misbehavior, which unfortunately failed to take the server down. Also, the vandals simply vandalized a wiki simply because someone loved a furry, which sparked controversy that Nicked1337 could be an immature Robloxiapedia user. On August 2024, the server where the encyclopedia vandalism would be planned was raided by Robloxiapedia users as retaliation, which ultimately resulted in the server being deleted. CORALREF even joked about him related to Colton after looking at his badges. CORALREF even questioned why he experienced a sudden change in behavior; on December 2023, he seemed nice, but he now seems rude, and even documented proof of him being an Roblox exploiter, of which the bureaucrat reported him for exploiting. The bureaucrat even played Nicked1337's Roblox games and disliked them, even going as far as taking screenshots of those games and mocking them for their low quality. Eventually, as Nicked was pressured after being exposed by Robloxiapedia users, Nicked felt the most reasonable option would be an apology to all the affected users. Indeed, on August 2024, Nicked for the first time apologized to Robloxiapedia users for the vandalism over the past two months and swore not to do it again. However, his accounts still remain banned for attempting the largest vandalism in Robloxiapedia history. Up to 10 users were reported, and SOAP (FANDOM's built-in anti-vandal protection service) was even enlisted to revert all the changes due to the encyclopedia being vandalized. Nicked became the second Robloxiapedia user after The 4121 to realize the error of his ways. Since then, ChikoritaTheRobloxian has teased that 2024 could be a redemption year for most Robloxiapedia users, and that he intends to unban morphmeatball from the encyclopedia soon. As another emergency plan, he plans to hire more Robloxiapedia staff to ensure the wiki gets constantly moderated.
On August 15, 2024, PolyParzi vandalized Robloxiapedia, affecting 19 pages. The user in question was originally blocked for a year in Robloxiapedia by the staff member who caught the user, before being upgraded to a ban by the bureaucrat due to the user editing to destroy Robloxiapedia. On August 16, 2024, the bureaucrat banned Robloxian47 after he had probable suspicious cause that he was an undisclosed alternative account and sockpuppet of J74985, as evidenced by his editing behavior and the recent claim of ownership on the Brookhaven Peak page.
The Near-Decline Of Robloxiapedia
On September 8, 2024, there was a brief hype on Robloxiapedia that the Minecraft movie will finally come out, as evidenced by a public release of the movie's trailer. On September 12, 2024, the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat took a screenshot of a rare Fandom bug. On September 13, 2024, ChikoritaTheRobloxian noticed that you actually report Google Street View in space. On September 16, 2024, ChikoritaTheRobloxian was infuriated with a user that inserted "false' information to a page based on a Roblox game and reported a post that clearly did not break any Robloxiapedia rules. On September 16, 2024, Robloxiapedia experienced a resurgence in furries as a furry roleplay began taking place in Discuss, with the bureaucrat resorting to creating a new category just for furry roleplaying. On September 19, 2024, an influx of new country articles in Robloxiapedia has led some to question what the encyclopedia had become. On September 29, 2024, ChikoritaTheRobloxian announced that the wiki made by Colton2022 and ColtShark (United States of Robloxia Wiki) was finally taken down, presumably trying to get more users to visit the United States of Robloxia Wiki, and asserted positively that Robloxiapedia will always remain the original Robloxian fan universe encyclopedia. On the same day, one article was vandalized, with the words "He is Ben Simon" repeated on one page and an inappropriate word found on another, resulting in the Robloxiapedia bureaucrat blocking the user before FANDOM globally blocked the user.
On early October 2024, due to furry pages being created more and more, several users expressed their frustration on how Robloxiapedia is undergoing a major topic shift. While ChikoritaTheRobloxian anticipated the topic shift, ChikoritaTheRobloxian plans to implement a quota on furry articles. Another vandalism occurred on October 12, 2024 in which a user named -mrfuzrat vandalized Robloxiapedia and even performed an attack edit on an article.
