Robloxiapedia Wiki Rules and Regulations

These are the rules that must be followed when editing this wiki. It is the responsibility of the Robloxiapedia admins to read and modify these rules as needed. All users of the wiki must read and abide by these rules. Failure to follow the rules will result in consequences, including punishments that apply to both the wiki and the Discord server, such as blocks or warnings. Please note that users whose purpose is to deliberately ignore the rules will get a ban regardless of prior warnings/blocks.

Rules marked with a * can be ignored once you become Robloxiapedia staff, which you can apply to.

Basic Rules

Welcome to the Robloxiapedia Wiki Rules and Regulations. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all our users, please respect the following rules:

Keep it civil: When you are engaging in a discussion with other people, it is important to remember that personal attacks are never acceptable. If you disagree with someone's opinion, it is perfectly fine to criticize their argument, but it is not okay to attack them as a person. Additionally, it is important to avoid using bigoted language that can be hurtful or offensive to others. This includes slurs that target individuals or groups based on their gender, race, sexual orientation, nationality, religion, or any other identifying characteristic. Always strive to communicate with respect and civility, even if you strongly disagree with someone else's point of view. Users who refuse to keep it civil will be warned, blocked, or banned. If a user is warned or blocked, they may be asked to apologize to all individuals who were personally attacked or targeted/offended with the bigoted language.

Be a productive member of the wiki: When contributing to a wiki, it's important to follow the established processes and conventions that have been put in place. These guidelines help to ensure that the information on the wiki is accurate and useful to others. However, if you're unsure about what it means to be productive or if you need help with your edit, don't hesitate to reach out to an Robloxiapedia staff for member for guidance. One thing to keep in mind when working on a wiki is that disagreements with other users over a topic should not be resolved by declaring an edit war, which will only lead to the targeted page being temporarily protected to staff only, which can hinder normal users from making progress on their article and contributing to the article. Instead of starting an edit war, reach out to the users who you have an edit war with and work together to find a compromise that benefits everyone involved. By doing so, you and your parties will be able to contribute to the wiki in a positive and productive manner, and Robloxiapedia staff will not have to hinder anyone from editing.

Only self-promote your Roblox account.: The wiki is an invaluable resource that is maintained by a collaborative community. It is designed to provide users with relevant and accurate information about a particular topic. However, it is important to note that the wiki is not a soapbox or a platform for promoting your own website, YouTube channel, blog, or social media account. The primary focus of the wiki is to provide helpful and neutral information, and any form of self-promotion could undermine the integrity of the platform.

However, the only type of self-promotion that is allowed without administration approval is your ROBLOX account. However, if you wish to promote your own website, YouTube channel, blog, or other social media accounts, you must first seek approval from a Robloxiapedia staff member. Failure to do so is considered a violation of our policies and could result in a warning or other disciplinary action.

Do not harass other users: If somebody asks you to stop posting certain content on their article, respect their wishes. After all, it is their article. This rule also applies to the following:

• user pages
• message walls
• talk pages
• comment sections on user generated blog posts
• replies to a user generated Discussions post

Note: If a Robloxiapedia staff member finds any off-platform harassment and incivility towards a Robloxiapedia user, it will be also subject to this rule. Do NOT assume that you are immune to Robloxiapedia rules outside of Robloxiapedia.

Please also respect the following rules.

Do not call Robloxia or any other thing in the wiki FAKE OR ANY SYNONYM OF IT. Those words usually criticize the wiki project as a whole and we do not want any criticism in our excellent wiki. Robloxiapedia users will be warned for such libel or slander. Please use the word FANON to describe the encyclopedia instead. If any users post any off-platform content (i.e. outside of encyclopedia) that promotes the content of Robloxiapedia being fake, we will report the content to platform moderators and direct them to this page. If the moderators oppose our ban proposal, we will do no further action to prevent escalation.

Vandalism Clause: Robloxiapedia does not tolerate vandalism of its articles. You will be warned for each vandalistic edit and eventually blocked/timed-out/banned. Vandalism also includes the act of uploading destructive files on Robloxiapedia and starting a raid (getting multiple accounts to vandalize Robloxiapedia)

False Information Clause: Inserting false information (defined as information outside of our fanon) into any article of Robloxiapedia is grounds for a warning. You will be blocked/timed-out/banned for longer if you continue.

Page Ownership and Reverting Clause: Unless explicitly stated by the creator of a page (defined as the first contributor on any given page, can be revealed simply by clicking Page Information), all articles in Robloxiapedia are considered to be editable by everyone for major edits (such as major content additions) or minor edits (such as spelling or grammar mistakes). The creator (and only the creator) can override this assumption by explicitly stating that an article either be editable by everyone just as long as they only correct grammar or spelling mistakes or editable by the creator themselves. They can also do this by asking other specific editors to edit (the usernames of the specific editors must be listed in the article for it to be eligible).

For creators who are also staff, the creators can also protect the page, ensuring that only staff can edit, and no other editors can.

Users who assume ownership of an article (usually by reverting all edits by other users) but do not explicitly state so in their article are considered to be disruptive and will be permanently banned from Robloxiapedia with no prior warning. Page creators can claim themselves as owner of a page but need to disclose this on the page itself. Upon disclosure, users are allowed to revert edits that are not their own. If left undisclosed, the creator should allow contributions to be incorporated into their article.

PLEASE NOTE: All Robloxiapedia staff members have the right to edit any page for any reason, even though you did not explicitly include them. Reverting those edits may constitute staff harassment and will be dealt with accordingly.

Topic Clause: Robloxiapedia has strict guidelines against adding off-topic content to ensure that it remains focused as a specialized encyclopedia. The only exception to this rule is when content is written from a Robloxian's perspective. Any off-topic additions that do not adhere to this guideline are considered to be harmful to Robloxiapedia. We strongly recommend that users refrain from making such additions and instead consider other platforms for such content or include them on their user pages.

Edit Inflation Clause:* The practice of edit inflation, which involves artificially increasing your edit count by making insignificant contributions to Robloxiapedia, is strictly prohibited. This includes editing with the sole purpose of gaining experience or achieving a higher position on the encyclopedia’s leaderboard. Users who engage in creating only trivial contributions without substantially enhancing articles may face the possibility of having their accounts banned from Robloxiapedia. The determination of whether an edit is substantial is at the discretion of the staff.

Mini Staff Clause: Robloxiapedia users, except for Robloxiapedia staff, are not allowed to minimod other users, including Robloxiapedia staff. Minimods will be warned.

Protection Clause: If a page is protected from being edited or being created, attempts to evade protection by creating a new page that discusses the same subject will result in that page deleted.

Edit War Clause: If an edit war is detected over lore and a compromise is possible by combining lore, it will be made by staff if they think it is feasible. However, if unfeasible, the staff will revert the page back to what it was before the edit war and all parties affiliated will be warned.

Lore Clause: The Lore Clause states that two pages in Robloxiapedia should be used as a basis for constructing your own lore if you get stuck, namely the Brookhaven and Robloxia pages. Please do not edit those pages unless you have a realistic lore addition to add.

Article Rules

You can create articles that showcase disasters in real life. Articles showcasing disasters inspired by real-life events in the world of Roblox must adhere to certain guidelines. The disasters must have occurred at least 30 months prior to the article's creation. Any articles that violate this policy will be promptly removed from Robloxiapedia. Continued creation or addition of such articles may result in a temporary ban from editing Robloxiapedia. It is important to note that only fictional disasters set in the world of ROBLOX within the past 30 months are acceptable. These articles are allowed on Robloxiapedia and will be retained.

EXCEPTION: Please be aware that any articles related to the September 11 attacks will immediately be subject to speedy deletion as they are considered offensive to Robloxiapedia. Articles specifically addressing the September 11 attacks in an offensive manner or with the intent to harm the integrity of Robloxiapedia will be speedily deleted. Moreover, the user responsible for creating such content will face an immediate ban, as it is deemed highly detrimental to the encyclopedia, especially within the online community.

The following is a list of prohibited article types in Robloxiapedia. Any article in Robloxiapedia containing this may be deleted speedily and the creator warned.

• Blank articles
• Infobox-only articles
• Website link-only articles

Articles that are countries*: When creating a new country in Robloxiapedia, users should keep in mind that the countries considered part of the official Robloxiapedia canon are currently limited to those documented in the Roblox Wiki, existing in Roblox, or having an equivalent real-world counterpart. Not adhering to this guideline may lead to your country being labeled as non-canon and could result in its deletion at the end of each month. Additionally, all associated articles related to the country may be fully protected immediately, and you may be blocked from the encyclopedia. This block will only be lifted if your country becomes established as canon. It's important to note that repeatedly creating non-canon countries that are deleted from Robloxiapedia could result in a ban from the platform. You have multiple chances to create a canon country - up to three chances, and each country that is verified as canon by the staff will give you an additional chance, up to a maximum of three chances.

AI: Please remember the following guidelines regarding the use of AI (Artificial Intelligence) on Robloxiapedia: AI usage is permitted as long as it complies with the existing encyclopedia rules and does not contain violent, abusive, deceptive, or generally harmful content. If an article is generated using AI, it is mandatory to include attribution of the specific GPT used. Only the approved GPTs: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, HuggingChat, and Mistral AI, are accepted on Robloxiapedia. Users who use AI to create articles that violate the rules will face warnings, blocks, or bans on Robloxiapedia. Additionally, if the generated article is harmful, violent, abusive, or deceptive in nature, the staff reserves the right to report the article content to the relevant developer of the GPT.

1. Adult Content Articles: Content that is considered adult, including anything obscene, profane, containing swear words, or being sexually explicit, can only be posted on Robloxiapedia if the {{AdultContent}} template is included on the top of the page, or if the said adult content is blurred using the {{Blur}} template. If adult content is found without these templates, it will be removed by Robloxiapedia staff, and the page may be protected to prevent future creation of such content. Additionally, any adult content articles that reach Explore Robloxiapedia and remain there for a week will be deleted to protect young audiences and prevent reproduction of the adult content assets in the future, though optionally, those articles may be deleted immediately but reinstated within three days of the deletion. If the article still makes it up to Explore Robloxiapedia after said reinstatement occurs, the first option will prevail.

Those rules may apply to you or they do not. Please respect them if you are an applicable user.
