Cyprus Air 809 (C809)[]
Cyprus Air Flight 809 was a flight from Perth to Larnaca, Cyprus. 310 Robloxians were on board the aircraft, which was a one-year-old Boeing 777-300. It was the first Boeing 777 used by Cyprus Air.
Air Izolirani 1388 (I1388)[]
Air Izolirani Flight 1388 was a flight from Greater Rockford to Izolirani. The aircraft was a five-year-old Boeing 747-400.
Accident[]
Both planes were heading to Skopelos, a small island that created a company named Sky Skopelos, an Air Traffic Control company. The planes were flying towards each other at the same altitude. ATC told AIZ1388 to descend to 36.000 feet. At the same time, air traffic controllers saw United Airlines Flight 214 (UAL214) and Cyprus Air Flight 1809 (C1809). Air traffic controllers thought it could be possible that the two airplanes collide. One controller said 'C1809 descend to 36.000'. However, C1809 was not able to descend. Then ATC said 'UAL214, climb to flight level 380.'. UAL214 climbed to 38.000. The air traffic control center was reporting occasional connection problems. Controller tried to connect to C1809 later. After a few minutes later, C809 connected to ATC. However, the ATC confused C809 with C1809 and C809 was not aware of this mishap. Controller said 'C809, descend to flight level 360. UAL 214 is heading to you.' and C809 descended to 36.000 feet. After descending both aircraft's (AIZ1388 and C809) TCAS begins to operate. ATC said 'C809 climb to 37.000.'. Air Izolirani 1388 connected to ATC too. However, ATC confused AIZ1388 and C809 and said: AIZ809. The ATC started to panic. Controller said to Air Izolirani 'AIZ1388 descend to 35.000.'. At the same time, C809 is connected. TCAS said climb to AIZ1388. However, AIZ1388 starts to descend. C809's TCAS begins to say descend and C809 starts to descend. Both aircraft are heading towards each other. With no further instructions given by the ATC, the two planes collided, causing C809 to lose its vertical stabilizer and fall to the ocean while AIZ1388's back of the plane was missing, and the plane eventually fell to ocean. C809's pilots realized they lost their hydraulics without realizing it. The pilots did their best to prevent the crash, but the crash was inevitable as the aircraft become uncontrollable. After three minutes, the plane crash lands into sea, where 637 Robloxians died.
